Bulleh Shah.

Masjid Dha Dey, Mandir Dha Dey...
Dha dey jo kuch Dhainda

Ek Banday Da, Dil Na Dhaween
Rab Oday Vich hi Rehnda

Translation

Break down the mosque, Break down the temple
Break down everything which you can ..

Just don't break anyone's heart
because God lives there ...

question: what is the thought behind "One Man Army"? Who are you fighting against and what are you trying to protect? and why are you alone in that?

What if by breaking down the mosque, we are actually breaking someone's heart ? Infact, destruction of one single mosque hurts 1.5 B people ?

maybe this will answer your question

@umer

We should not take the words in a literal sense here, the poet just emphasizes the fact that God may forgive our those sins and issues which are directly related to Him, but we should refrain from hurting any other person's feelings/sentiments in any way, because God will take notice of such deeds very strictly.

With all due respect, I disagree. As far as my knowledge goes, Allah will not forgive those sins which are directly related to Him. For example, Allah will not forgive shirk - A sin directly related to Him.

Here is what AlQuran says, "Allah forgiveth not that partners should be set up with Him; but He forgiveth anything else, to whom He pleaseth; to set up partners with Allah is to devise a sin most heinous indeed." -- 4:48

Clearly, worshiping idols is a sin directly related to Allah.

Similarly, destroying masjid is also a sin directly related to Allah and His men.

Thanks for your comment,

but I wrote "God MAY forgive.." so there can be some sins which are directly related to God which he MAY forgive.. And of course, yes there can be some sins which He will never forgive.. like the one you mentioned.

:)
